To slow down. To create. To gather.
For Educators, Practitioners working with children, Nannies and Caregivers who want to expand and refresh ideas when offering art as a vehicle for young children. Certificates will be offered to those who want to use towards their licence hours.
The Gathering Canvas is a five-week invitation to step away from the pace of daily life and into a room of colour, curiosity, and connection. Across five two-hour sessions, a small group of ten will explore the elements of art - line, colour, materials, story - not as skills to master, but as a way back to presence, playfulness, and self.
No art experience needed. No pressure to perform. Just an open hand, a willingness to try
something new,and the quiet company of others doing the same. Each session builds gently on the last, culminating in a final collaborative piece. Sign up for one workshop and see what beauty can unfold.
It is about what we all take away. How we feel when we sing together, how a song can make a child smile or soothe them during tough times. The list of benefits acquired from singing and music making is extensive. We may not see it right away, but if we pay attention, we will soon discover how important a role music plays in a child's development. The connections fostered between peers in each class is amazing to see and we love watching our little friends come to life in each and every class. Come join the fun!

"Chorus & Clouds has been our safe haven since the beginning of the pandemic. Without family or support here, the community we've met through music and art classes have been safe, supportive & genuine. You have been like family to us, in which we are so grateful. “Chorus and Clouds - our home away from home for over 3.5 years now. I count my blessings to have found Jess and her magical space all those years ago. Jess is an outstanding, passionate childhood educator. She creates both a magical and safe environment for children to experience and expand their wonder and awe through music, art, stories and exploration. Jess has the biggest heart, a beautiful voice and a genuine interest in each and every child’s curiosity which truly lets them shine!”
